90% of our driving...

is within the city with daily travelling not more than 40km and average speed around 33km/h and not more than 50km/h top speed.

EVs with a top speed of 80 km/h and a range of 80 km would meet the daily city mobility requirements.

REVA was conceptualized and designed to meet these needs and performance specifications.

Low energy consumption
- using just one quarter as much energy as a similar size small car with an internal combustion engine, the REVA   is the most energy efficient car on the road (source: Energy Saving Trust).

The REVA is emission free, with no exhaust emissions, ever. Even when pollution generated at the power station to charge the REVA is included (called 'well-to-wheel') the emissions impact of a REVA is at least 74% less than a car with an internal combustion engine.

The new REVAi is small and nippy, ideal for congested urban roads. The advanced ac drivetrain and anti roll bar delivers a smoother more powerful ride, a range of up to 80km per charge, a certified top speed of 80 kmph, 40% extra mid range torque, swift acceleration to 50 kmph (60% quicker than its nearest competitor, making other EVs appear sluggish), whilst the tiny turning circle make the REVAi easy to manoeuvre, simple to park and fun to drive.
